Mycosphaerella pinodes is a fungal plant pathogen that causes ascochyta blight on pea. Symptoms include lesions of the leaves, stem and pods of the plant. The disease is difficult to distinguish from blight causes by Ascochyta pisi, though M. pinodes is the more aggressive of the two pathogens.[1]
